Illusions

About a month ago a lot of snow fell overnight and when we woke up in the morning, the sun was shining and everything was white and sparkling.  Pristinely white snow covered the yellowing grass in our backyard, hid bare flowerbeds and empty flowerpots.  Our grill turned into a white mountain next to a huge white mushroom that used to be a table on our deck.   Everything looked clean, soft and new.

I really liked that clean and cold feeling and made this cottage candle shelter trying to create an illusion of something cold and beautiful in glass.  I used glass that is actually called Ice and looks exactly like crushed ice!  The light blue roof with white streaks really reinforces the "coldness".  The cottage windows made of light yellow glass do not look warm, not even with a candle lit inside.
