Almost a year ago I wrote about Nadezhda Bokovikova who makes cutting a sheet of paper a true artform.
I now own a calendar made by Nadezhda.
The calendar has 12 pages and a different design is cut out on each page. Page designs go one on top of the other and create a 3-dimensional picture which changes as I turn the pages each month.
Each page on its own is a work of art and deserves to be framed and hung on the wall as an artwork, but I would never do that simply because these pages together are much more than that, they are a story, a moving image.
Nadezhda sells not only calendars in her Etsy store named MamaTita, but also announcements, invitations, table numbers, place cards, thank you cards - items that will make your event special and unique. Her clients around the world are always happy with her designs, and you will know why once you see them.
Recently, she also started to make wedding cake toppers from air dry clay, and believe me, they look good enough to eat.
Oh, if I were to host an event big enough to order invitations, I would definitely order from Nadezhda!
